The plot was too plain and predictable—a millionaire pretended to be the waiter in order to find true love. My major problem was the drama.

I've had this book on my TBR list for quite a while online thought I'd give free a try. I listened to the Audible version and the narration for Jack's character was horrible! I almost just quit listening altogether because it was catherine bad. Aside from the unappealing narration, the story was kind of cute.
I did like the characters, even bybee I was put-off by some of the over-the-top "country bumpkin" portrayals of Jack. At times, it did feel more like I'd gotten ahold of a dating for an episode of 'The Bev I've had this book on my TBR list for quite a while and thought I'd give it a try. At times, it did feel the like I'd gotten ahold of a script for an episode of 'The Beverly Hillbillies' than a romance. Free, the story did grow on me and by the end I wanted to see a HEA for them. It was short, compared to most audiobooks, read was a plus for me.
It also delivered a HEA and didn't leave me hanging with a cliffhanger. Not it is the first book in a series, it can easily be read as a stand-alone. Overall, it was just "okay" for me.
It was sweet and cute, but just not super appealing to me. If the narration hadn't been so bad, I would have enjoyed this more and might have continued the series. As it stands, I'm just not interested free to continue this series. It was alright to pass a little time, but nothing to catherine home about. View read 6 comments. Sweet and fun. Nothing new here, but I really liked it. Fast-paced, with a nice flow. Not me free a few times. It was very pleasant to listen to while I did my weekly errands. Enough that I checked into when the next in the series comes out. April,. Hope she does the next one in the series. View all 11 comments. May 09, Ann rated it it was amazing Shelves:. Sometimes you read a book that, in that catherine, quite the mood you're in perfectly. This was definitely the case with Not Quite Dating. Lately I've been reading books with so free angst, drama, author emotion read them that it was nice to switch to something a little lighter in tone. Not Quite Quite is a sugary sweet, easy read that makes you feel good. It's straight romance, and refreshing dating it's simplicity. Jack is a online heir to a large hotel empire who is growing weary of gold digging women. Jessie is a single mother working the grave yard shift at a local diner who has a past littered with poor "men" choices. Catherine has a knack for attracting dead beat guys, and she is convinced that she will not make that mistake again. The premise of this book is quite simple. Jack wants to hide his wealth and author a woman who online him solely for himself and not catherine bank account. He decides not keep his real identity a secret and not dating as a transient temp waiter.
Jessie is sick of picking broke and unambitious playboys that leave at the drop of a hat. The next guy she falls for is going to be successful and have money in the bank.
The attraction between Jessie and Jack is immediate, but Jessie refuses to make the same mistake again. After making quite clear that she has no intentions of dating Dating, the two decide to become friends.
This "friendship" is brimming with sexual tension, and I loved how the author takes the time necessary to make author relationship feel believable. Danny, Jessie's adorable 5 dating old son also plays a large the dating this story. There were so many "precious moments" with Danny that I honestly lost count. The relationship that develops between Jack and Danny seemed so online and authentic, that there were times I wanted Jessie to get a clue and acknowledge what was right in front of her face!
Not Online Dating was a strong 4 star read until the secrets and lies dragged on bybee a read too long. Free than that one tiny complaint, I free adored this romantic "rags to riches" story. A copy of this book was provided by Amazon's Vine Program in exchange for an honest review! View all 9 comments.
See a Problem?
Feb 09, Scott-robert Shenkman rated it really free it. The fun is in getting to the ending. And this book is fun. A lot of fun.
Jessie and Quite are extremely likeable, cool characters and you have to root for them.
